Sam King
Director
Sam King is the Chief Executive Officer of Veracode and a recognized expert in cybersecurity, the emerging practice of DevSecOps and business management. As a founding member of the Veracode team, she helped lead the establishment and growth of the application security category working with industry experts and analysts. In her current role, Ms. King is focused on company growth and helping customers achieve their missions through the creation of secure software. Prior to Veracode, she held leadership positions in cybersecurity and technology companies including Verisign and Razorfish. In addition to security and technology, she is also passionate about developing leaders and creating positive work environments that foster creativity and personal growth.
Ms. King received her Masters of Science and Engineering in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her BS in Computer Science from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, where she earned the prestigious Charles Babbage Award, awarded to the student with the highest academic achievement in the graduating class.
