Join us as a Marketing Data and Insight Leader to lead our marketing analytics and reporting efforts. In this role, you will manage a few Marketing Operations Analyst individuals while also being directly responsible for analyzing marketing data, creating insightful reports, and providing actionable recommendations to optimize marketing campaigns and drive business performance.
Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement overall marketing analytics and reporting strategy.
- Clearly understands Marketing and Sales teams business objectives.
- Define the most important KPIs to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and provide insights into performance, Return on Investment (ROI), and areas for improvement.
- Drive metrics interpretation, analysis, insight, and forecast modeling in support of Marketing strategy, campaigns optimization and business performance.
- Create regular and ad-hoc reports on marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations in business review to Marketing Leaders and stakeholders.
- Socialization, education, and adoption of existing and new marketing analytics strategies, KPIs, and reports/dashboards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Product, Legal, and Finance to align analytics and reporting initiatives with business goals.
- Support data-driven decision making across the organization by providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Influence and initiate projects to solve complex business problems with a broad impact on corporate
- Direct descriptive, diagnostic and prescriptive analyses with direct involvement in more complex projects
- Deeply understand web, product, CRM, Purchasing and Marketing Automation systems data and the underlying business processes
- Own Marketing Data Governance strategy in line with corporate programs and participate in cross-team initiatives
Along with Marketing Analyst and Funnel Performance Specialist be responsible for:
- Strategic insights for channel performance — across paid, owned, social, and email channels and how each channel contributes incremental business value.
- Go-to-market planning and associated metrics reporting and insights – participate in GTM planning and monitoring and tracking marketing performance across all campaigns, evaluating effectiveness and ROI.
- Media and audience reporting and insights - Media analytics for driving brand awareness.
- Funnel Performance reporting and insights - monitoring, reporting, and analysis of the funnel metrics (web-to-lead-to-pipeline)
- Target setting and forecasting - cooperating with finance, sales and demand generation teams on target creation. Provide recommendations for strategic marketing planning (budget for future marketing investments) and day-to-day marketing decision-making.
Partner with the Corporate Data & Analytics team to:
- Create data project requirements, Tableau content and documentation following respective policies in alignment with D&A team
- Participate in Data Champion program
- Representing Marketing team in D&A team planning and strategic initiatives
- Partner with other functions on QSR reporting and insights
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Science or related field.
- Solid background in analytics, data visualization and stakeholder management with a strong business acumen and interest in the technical aspects of data processing.
- A good understanding of marketing concepts and metrics, such as demand generation, customer base marketing, marketing engagement score, and marketing funnel.
- Ability to extract meaningful information from data and to translate technical insights into business understandings and actionable recommendations to drive business performance.
- A strategic mindset and a vision for how data can drive marketing success and business growth
- Expert in Tableau, Microsoft Excel, and Google Analytics, at minimum
- Solid leadership skills with experience managing global teams and cross-functional projects, with ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with executive-level stakeholders
